These Terms govern your use of the Aydeen mobile application (“the App”), operated by Deepfai Inc. (“Aydeen”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
§ 1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Aydeen. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.
§ 2 Your account
Some features (group safety, leader map, SOS, premium subscription) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your phone number or sign-in credentials secure. Tell us immediately at support@aydeen.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
§ 3 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse SOS, location, or group features to harass, deceive, or surveil another person without their knowledge and consent.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source other than to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
- Submit content through the Verify or Ask-a-Question features that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- Use the App to send unsolicited communication or to circumvent any rate limits or anti-abuse mechanisms.
§ 4 Religious content disclaimer
Aydeen ships scholarly content (rituals, du’as, prayer-time calculations, hadith and Qur’an verification, the Ask-a-Mufti Q&A flow) as a convenience, not as a binding fatwa. We do our best to source from canonical references, but the App is not a replacement for a qualified scholar. Always consult one for personal rulings.
Some of these features use AI, which can misread or mis-match a text. Treat any AI-assisted result as a starting point and verify anything you intend to rely on. See § 4.3 and § 8 of the Privacy Policy for how those features handle your data.
§ 5 Group safety features
The leader map, hotel-aware location sharing, and SOS button are safety aids, not guaranteed services. Coverage gaps, permission denials, dead batteries, and network outages can prevent a message getting through. In a real emergency, dial the local emergency number directly — in Saudi Arabia, the Red Crescent at 997.
§ 6 In-app purchases & subscriptions
Aydeen Premium is sold via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel them in your store account. You can cancel any time and will retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies.
§ 7 Subscription terms
- Charges are billed to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation.
- Auto-renewal can be turned off any time in your store account, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Lifetime purchases are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. Lifetime does not include the AI-backed features, which are sold separately as an add-on because they carry an ongoing per-use cost.
- Where an introductory or free-trial offer is made available for a product, any unused portion is forfeited when you start the paid subscription.
§ 8 Intellectual property
The App, our logo, and the Aydeen brand are owned by Deepfai Inc. Bundled scriptural text (Qur’an, hadith) is in the public domain or licensed from its rights holders — per-source attributions are listed in Qur’an > About this Qur’an and the corresponding Hadith and Du’a screens. You may not extract, redistribute, or re-publish bundled translations or audio outside the App.
§ 9 Third-party services
The App relies on Google Firebase, Google Maps Platform, the Apple App Store, Google Play, OpenAI (for the Verify feature’s opt-in server mode), and a small number of other providers. The full list, and what each one receives, is in § 6 of our Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply where their services are surfaced inside the App.
§ 10 Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings › Privacy & data › Delete my account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms after notice, except in cases that warrant immediate suspension (fraud, abuse, threats to other users).
§ 11 Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). Our total liability for claims arising from your use of the App will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under your local law (for example, liability for gross negligence or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
§ 12 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Riyadh, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to pursue claims locally.
§ 13 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after the change date means you accept the updated Terms.
